well just spent 2 1/2 weeks on holiday,drinking too much but have nother couple of days off work so wil try to put petrol in and see if it still goes might even go for a drive round the block have lots of empty section down the road
have a few oil leaks but they can be fixed up with a bit of rtv sould of dont them all before adding the oil
ooohh back to the grind

well been mucking around with the jeep again (it's becoming a habit)
have pulled right hand wheel ass apart and have done the king pin bearings reconditioned the front shocks!!!! a paint and the best bushes i could find in my garage fitted them tonight unloaded all the spare crap on the jeep then went for a drive welllllll died lots before the end of the drive pushed across the road to let neighbour out of drive while i was sitting there trying to get her started the b#@$!%$@#!@Y COPS DROVE PAST bout the 4th time in 4 years?? locked at me and keep going phewwww about to give up and put her away and she went almost like a dream so up and down the road i went 1st gear then 2nd whooh she lives and the best thing i could even change down from 2nd to 1st,a few of the neighbours came out to she what was going on

well might replace the ht leads this week and if fine go for a warrant of fitness on saturday

now waiting on windscreen to turn up and am going to build a tailgate then swap the off road tyres on to the jeep rims and have a play!!

well the play will wait
carby piddling all over the place and can't afford to rebuild it this week est $225 + but on the bright note got my warrent of fitness on monday still need tailgate and windscreen I did buy the pipe for rollbar/cage so can still tow it to work to be done will keep on plodding away might chance the carby to a stromberg off a holden 186 as others have done or one off a landy if i need to (read cheaper or easier)

Have found I had a spare carb in the box(s) of bits thats seems in better nick so fixing it up at work lets hope that fixes that prob

fat chilli and everyone else thanks for the positive comments and WHY NOT the sooner you start the sooner you get it muddy and enjoy it (rant over)

still mucking around with shelf to hold the radios not quite right but plenty of time yet


so close yet so far

#@$^%$@*&^@#%!@$# carbys fixed the other one up then broke a jet off in the housing %$@^%$&*%#@%$#
but am looking round for a later model replacement
and still waiting for tail gate and windscreen shelf to hold radios nearly ther have had tank out and replace fitting soldered into it for the outlet and refitted the tank now got to put fitting back into it but long weekend here but got wedding to attend on saturday NOT mine
take over to work on sunday and make rollbar during the week one of my workmates great on the pipe bender then home for fisining touches but have said that before
and have been mucking around with a couple of spare waterpumps and think i might of fixed water leak at the pump well heres hoping

ps the jeep jambo on roothys dvd looked like fun
