what sort of difficulty would you class ormeau as?
I'd prob be up for it if it's not too crazy for a near beginner

Depends on which part you choose to play in, but generally its fine for 1st timers. There's alot more tracks & chicken tracks now so its good all round.

After the Kilcoy trip, I was also thinking of going to Ormeau for a run. I would like to try most of the close tracks to Brissy and also go to Black Duck Valley before the Jamboree.

That is a really good place to 'test' you and/or a 4x4's ability. From beginner to Extreme Advanced, there's something for everyone at Ormeau!! !!

I am looking at going in the second weekend in June (10th or 11th) as I am going to the Hunter Valley for a weeks R&R at the end of May.

After the Old Coach Rd trip I may try more than I did and bring a digital video camera and a larger card for the still camera.
