try jaycar, they have the bitumen sheets there, i think they were about $8/ sheet, just remember to leave them out in the sun for a little bit before you apply them, helps them soften up and mould to the curves in the sheet metal

Fibreglass doesn't stick real well to the masking tape usually so it should remove ok....

it's out now...just needed a little force.
here's how i plan to make it. not sure i'm going with a panel covering the sub...but who knows


i'll be using the car to carry some stuff around and i don't like to have to remove the sub every time i need extra space.

I would definitely cover the sub like the one in the pic, firstly it hides it from prying eyes and secondly it protects it from foreign objects and the suns uv so it won't fade as fast...

at this time i'm harrasing naxja members to sell me a cargo cover
but the sub cover is cool. i need to look into it a bit more.
@grand_jg : yes, it's a pic of jl's stealthbox. for a grand cherokee. as far as speaker alternatives go, i can recommend some internet based companies that surely ship to aus.
