Maybe it's just your rear control arm bushes that need replacing. If they're worn, they allow the rear axle to move around and not stay perpendicular to the body/chassis. Therefore giving you the feeling that your vehicle is being steered from the rear...
Make sure all the bushes are in good nick, also did you put the a-frame bushes in the right way ie with slots front & back?
Also is a-frame ball joint in good condition?
