[QUOTE=indertdxj;822847]Waiting for the water pump and trying to get the old one out at the moment. The old one is held in with 13mm bolts one which is hard to get to. I can't get the pulley off and can't get a socket in behind the pulley and standard spanners fit but can't turn to undo the bolt due to space limitations (water pump itself, thermostat and main fan belt pulley).

My solution was to buy a set of 'crows feet' wrenches. Sidchrome don't make a metric set but kincrome do. I bought the set but got home to find I have 1/2 and 1/4 inch drive sockets and need a 3/8 for the crows feet.....back to the tool shop tomorrow.

QUOTE]

Bought a nifty 3/8 drive sidchrome ratchet with adjustable angle head on it. One minute and that bolt was out using my new socket and crows feet....probably never use them again, $140 worth of tools for one bolt!

Well not today, but over the past few weeks. Replaced OME worn shocks with Rancho, RSX on the front and 9000X on the back, replace the Jeep front springs with Tough Dog, removed the UHF that was mounted to the dash and replaced with a new remote head unit mounted in the roof console. Today fitted the brake controller for the camper trailer brakes.

What will tomorrow bring??

Dave,

1. what brake controller did you use?

2. where did you mount the UHF unit is it also in the console area, or did you run the remote wires up, i am about to mount a remote head unit GME 3420

3. How is your camper trailer going, still shopping around for mine, still need to catch up
