Off to pick up my third and hopefully final aux battery for the XJ. It has a higher ah and I have been given some more advice on how to stop them from dying within six months, yeahh. Also planning on picking up the brand new $99 24L SRT compressor to sadly dismantle and use the bits for the onboard air storage system.
Regards A

Today I finally got the stainless steel roof rack finished and fitted, I had to put some packing under the tracks to stop the tracks from just sitting on the nutserts in the roof, while it was all off I decided to give it a much needed bath.
Then I finished the wiring for the compressor.
After that it was on to the storage unit to get its revisions under way.

I also finished fabbing up my set of Bar Pin Eliminators today, I will see when I get a chance to fit them but when I do I need to repair a stripped thread for one of the rears, I am planning to use helicoils on them which shouldn't be too hard to do.
Gotta get some new shockie eye bushes first though....

I replaced the original tracks with some Prorack tracks, the roack then bolts straight to the tracks with nuts that slide inside the track....
All stainless incl hardware except for the smoked perspex splitter at the front and fully TIG welded by Junglejuice Fab.....
