Default Boredom got the best of me and i did this to my xj today

Fitted pod filter air intake, hopefully it will improve my fuel economy....

Also rerouted my transmission cooler lines...they kinda leak a bit when you disconnect your sway bar...

Gonna order a transmission cooler today as well. Is it worth using the factory trans cooler as a cooler for the power steering pump? I figure you may as well use for something...

Whilst I didn't do it for the kudos I appreciate your sentiment, I didn't do the dirty deed myself, the weight on the XJ's frontend is more than sufficient to quickly crush the life out of a hapless road strike animal, hell of a gruesome way to initiate my "new" 95 Sport

What is it currently? 14~16L/100 seems to be about average for a stock-as-a-rock Cherokee driven sedately with that topping out at 26L/100 when towing a significant load (ie. fully loaded 14m2 enclosed trailer)

Got around to doing the engine oil/filter change, and a flush on the transmission. 5L of Penrite oil and 10L of ATF all up, but it's now much smoother and more responsive. Best $130 spent!

Engine oil and filter change while it was draining decided to change front and rear diff oils too - used about 6L of magnatec and 3L redline diff oil.
