my upper control arm put a split in my auto cooler line on full flex while driving a pretty nasty rut... had to do a patch job on the track then a quick trip to supercheap for supplies and fixed it in the carpark

Replaced the radiator hoses, thermostat and cover and water pump with new coolant and now the temp appears to be stable but a touch low. What temp or needle position is the XJ supposed to run at? I also replaced the serpentine belt as the last one lasted about a month (online buy).
I also replaced all the uni's in the front and back drive shafts and although I could only detect the slightest play in 2 uni's I have eliminated a vibration from 80 klm up.
As much as Rock auto is great I will buy from Wooders as for a few dollars extra I get sorted parts, excellent delivery and advice and that is worth more than the small price diff.

I have a 95* thermostat and thats where the temp gauge sits most of the time.
