Yerr that happened with mine. I was told by a mech wheel bearings so I did what it seems like you did, slip out the axles. I ended up slipping out the centre at the same time only to find a piece of metal on the bench after I was checking the centre that scared the hell out me cause I thought I had busted something but could not work out how. It turned out to be a peice of clutch plate. All my bearings were buggard too. Complete housing out and full rebuild, and I have had empty pockets ever since. Don't be surprised if you still have noise after the rear diff rebuild as apparently the fronts wear out at about the same time, mine did..

Yerr just when I thought I had no more leaks and the crank seal is weeping doh and I just had the HB done. I asked the mech and he said if the crank seal is not leaking then leave it. Well I am not in luck as it was only a few weeks after the HB was done I noticed a weep not enough to drip on the ground but still annoying. But hey it was only 60 to replace the HB so my guess is it won't be that much more to do the crank seal. Damn trouble is at the same I should probably do the sump gasket and if I am doing that then I had best do the rear main ahrr that is when it will become exi... May end up going in on a weekend and getting the mech to do the crank seal and I will do the rest while it is up on the hoist, I am getting to know him pretty well now and he is a nice bloke who helps me out. Even if I can drop the sump and clean it up while he does the rest.

Took out the TC spacers, put in my new Brown Dog engine mounts. Everything went pretty much to plan which I am happy with. Just need install the SYE to sort out the the slight driveline vibes.

Fitted the extended sway bar links this eve after running without links for the last two or three days. Suprisingly it handled not too bad but it is a lot better now they are back in. Must say I was worried that I would need to make a hard, sharp turn with the end result not a pretty one.

Didn't bother trying to stuff around with the drums today...if they're as flogged out as the discs were then it's not worth it. Ordered a new set of DBA drums, should be here this week.
