Carnage photos

This can happen when the rated recovery hook decides to straighten out and the snatch strap comes flying towards the recovery vehicle, luckily no shackle was used and no one got injured. Patrol stuck in mud and a Landcruiser recovering!!

So is that dent the result of just the strap hitting the rear ?
and is the pin in the photo bent as a result of using it to secure the strap ?
