Ive heard that a couple of times, so ill address it in my opinion (this is MY opinion, not that of JAA)

If you don't want to come and get the subscription that ok .... sad to see you don't want to support Australia's ONLY jeep magazine but that is your choice and only yours to make i won't force you.

The reason it is done that way is as a bonus to subscribers, not only do you get the years subscription you also get the chance to come to Camp Coffs, see the sites of our area, go on well led trips with people who have local knowledge and if you happen to break something or just break down, Michael, Jeff or one of the boys are there with the car trailer to pick you up and go get your car fixed, where else do you get service like that? Even with the subscription its cheaper then most events similar and you can camp there from thursday right through to tuesday.

Every year we get a few of these comments and almost every year someone comes along with that attitude to see what its about and i have not heard anyone go away with the same attitude. Its a good fun safe family event thats run really well. If you don't want to come.... i reckon your just missing out

Chris

and now my full opinion...

at 80 for the sub scription and 80 for the event, plus fuel to get there and back, food, time off work.. it all adds up.
the additional 80bucks makes it that bit further out of reach for me...

so i will stick to my local trips at a fraction of the cost and equaly good wheeling...

that is all... dont want to turn this into a shyte slinging match..
if anyone has any drama's pm me about it

For the record if your already a subscriber it will be the same pricing as last year

so that makes it $80 (children under 16 free) per adult from thursday night through to monday

* Largest annual jeep event in Australia
* 4 days of jeeping
* guided trips
* onsite catering for ALL meals (reasonably priced to!)
* Good amenities
* Great campsite
* shop with petrol and bottleshop close by

oh i have been.... great event, one of the best i have been to... i used to buy it every month mostly just as a support thing. At the point subscription became mandatory removing my choice and freedom without any of the many offered alternatives being entertained..... it just got up my nose.... not purchased one edition since or attended the camp.

No biggie it is my choice, not like i would be providing any mag content anyway
