Ok so these are last weeks photos. I've been in Melbourne on a work trip that didn't allow me 5 minutes to scratch my "gear ratio" ??
You'll see the cover came off for the poppet spring and ball.
Took the cover off the back of the high/low gear set and there's a couple of retaining rings for the shaft and bearing.
Painted everything up.

Looking a little bit like the Millenium Falcon the finished product !!!
Two coats of clear later and it's time to pull out the auto and start on it ...

Thanks mate ....

Latest goes something like, ..... Had some mates over last night and said "Who wants to pull out a Turbo400"?
One says, "Shit yeah, 8 bolts and she's out".
I say, "Are you seriouse", knowing it's going to take me at least 3 hours on my own and there is WAY more then 8 bolts, maybe an hour with a hand. "Ok, let's hook in"... I reply.
Needless to say, the box is still in the Jeep, with only two bellhousing bolts to go. But they did everything and I ate pizza and watched on !!!!
My brother took off with my stands before I got home though so I didn't touch it tonight. Might wait for Friday night ?? ...

Ha ha ha YES !! His Landy seems to be a magnet for all of my tools at the moment. Everything I own seems to be magically disappearing and finding it's way into Gordonvale !!
