We had the police knock on our door the other day and say that neighbours had been broken into....the burgulars are looking thru windows at night then smashing the front door in quick grab and leave....I didnt care, I never lock anything we have dogs and guns and told the cop this, whilst he stuck his fingers in his ear and whistled....hmmmm....my mum has a rotty that is NEVER walked and NEVER let out of the yard! It's a KILLER....even bit my nan on the bum.....

My father in-law has the meanest, angriest monster horse of a dog. I'm a dog person but i don't trust this dog it's bloody mean. It barks and growls and you know when someone is there. It's taken chunks of meat from me. However, it didn't stop anyone giving the dog a nice big t-bone and walking past it and stealing all the tools from his unlocked garage, while they were sleeping. We couldn't believe it.

Dogs are a great deterrent but if you don't lock up and take precautionary measures you leave yourself open.
