Whats the latest info on Power Steer fluid for a 07 CRD with the hydraulic fan that meets:
DAIMLER CHRYSLER SPECIFICATION MS-10838, SUCH AS MOPAR PART NUMBER 05142893AA,

As above mate, few running MobilFluid 424 in theirs for a considerable amount of time without issues. I've done a top up with mine and hasnt caused any issues (I've got the Hemi but they both have the thermo fan powered by hydraulic pressure) I've got a new pump sitting in the shed (mines been whining for years) that I'm going to swap in and flush all the old crap out of it.

I sent a question off to Penrite, and below is their response:

For the power steering in a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3L diesel we are recommending the use of our PAS Fluid https://www.penriteoil.com.au/produc...steering-fluid. This is suitable for use with the Chrysler MS-10838 specification. If you have any further questions please get in contact with us. Kind Regards,

It will be almost 3 years since I changed to the 424 and it has been fine, no issues and its not been changed since then.

424 been in my WH for 3 years as well.Lots of US info at that time that the Chrysler product was actually relabelled 424.
