they are still a three piece , I got all the separators , but missing two dam rails , the old ones are beyond gap (over 1.75mm when I measured) the diameter of it are 93 mm spot on , I cant even find a set here , have not snapped any as yet three pistons are in , do not want to go any further until I can get a set of NPR rings , I can get a set from the states , but having the engine apart in the time I do not like , I bought these rings with a kit , and that was about one year ago if I have to go to the cost of buying more..............but cant find a set in Australia.

have e mailed the company earlier today in JAPAN , no response ..... its not really a good idea using old rings , the bores are already honed . I guess the only thing I can do is try to find a set , or order from the states and bloody wait for the half ass mail here.

repco are trying to find , but I also contact Jp (thanks for that 55zed, )
my two con rods are on the way from Bendigo , it should not be too much fuss really , size is a 93.000 dia , landing is 2.30mm and thickness is .48mm . pretty thin oil ring but surely one of them should have it , (repco want 10.80 each for the, if they have the size)

well, things are starting to fall back into place , waiting for repco or JP to get back to me , the two rods are on there way , and my stress levels are now back down .
there are a couple of score marks on the crank , but not enough to give me concern , I polished some of it with jewel paper (5 thou) still shows a little but finger nail across doesn't catch , the bloody wind blew yesterday and last night so ill have to blow the engine and recheck it. I have a bit of concern on the bed plate as when I torqued it down my blasted angle tool fell apart , I ran the torque wrench over the mains at 90ft/lb and found the second row bolt less than the others , unsure of actual torque of the bolts due to they only give you that 90 dec angle bit , so I hope that 90 foot pounds is enough , thinking of doing at 130 , im glad I used av glue rather than a silly cone , at least then the seal will not break . nothing is worse in a engine is silly cone breaking away and floating around the engine till the pump picks it up chews it and sends it on its way to a journal !

Hopefully you get it sorted soon mate.
Are you just putting it back together stock? No new CAM or anything?

its a HO engine , but not place semi hemi pistons in , running the flat tops in it ,
the bloke who owned it before had redone the engine , BUT did not replace the two rods that were out of shape , the forged steel crank is knackered , so I am placing in a cast , hence the flats to drop the compression a little , the honing of it that was done was not real good , the crank I got is not quite new , has a couple of the big ends marked (from carbon score ) but not enough to worry me, (it happens when wrong oil and not changing oil) repco has not got back to me , nor has JP engineering
I could use two of the old oil rings but running a ring with a fresh hone is not good
the dia on this is 93.00mm , land depth is 2.30mm , thickness is .48mm , trying to find a pair is seeming quite hard.
