Hey guys, if you look back david is refering to my previous post re $18 remedy, well I have done 2000 k since then and tested maybe 7 or 8 bowsers and my fix has allowed me to get to full flow at every pump.!!!!!

I am still having problems every 2nd fill with cut out for 3-5 litres but every time I have been able to get full flow, I still think there is an issue with the breather system but wont get an opportunity til jan too play with it.

Good Luck

would love to hear from anybody who has tried my mod and what they felt.

Your tank should be AT ARB now it was scanned in at startrack express in perth on 19-12-07

You can look for a post shortly with some good info for you
Have you seen any pics of the tank yet?

Yes that is correct, I thought longy was an appropriate name
I wasn't ready to release the tank till we had finished all the website and release info,
But I organised for ARB WA to get a couple early because if it got any later they wouldn't recieve it over in WA before XMAS. And I new they wanted one, I guess it was for yourself.

I have been watching the filling problem for a while now.
I wouldn't normall post like this, but given the filling problem I thought it would be OK to post a commercial link here which may help a lot of you guy's out.

It is actually luck that I found out about this site. I actually used Macquarie 4x4's vehicle, and when I went down to Sydney to pick it up it was just about empty (I now no why), so into a servo I go (caltex) completely oblivious to what was about to happen, and I got the sh!ts after $30 and gave up (it was windy back home and I didn't have time for this as there was some kitesufing to be had).
Then later that night I jump on the internet to see if anyone else had this problem ,
This was a concern to me because I couldn't very well sell a tank which you couldn't fill.
So after reading this forum and looking under the vehicle on a hoist I didn't take long to decided that a whole new filler was needed with the tank, which adds to the cost, but is a good investment in the end.

I will post tommorow when the site is up, there will be plenty of info for anyone who wants more fuel and able to fill with hi flow nozzles.

Any way tomorrow all will be revealed

Ric

longy thanks very much. yes arb head office told me when i enquired that they had one tank coming and i was lucky enough to ring at the right time to get it. thanks for your efforts. there are quite a few of us out here with the problem. chrysler has as yet not found a solution. hope you can come up with an aftermarket solution for current owners who don't want a long range tank as well as the long range tank. hanks again for your help. i await tomorrows post eagerly
