Left pic was when the car only had a dobinson 2inch lift and edlebrock shocks and transfer case drop kit. Sway bars were still connected.
Right pic was after i put the RE 4.5 superlex kit but with 2.5inch springs. Sway bars were disconnected just shit articulation shot and shit pic. Flexes really well now.

Got the extension brake lines in now too so can go bush now.

Ordered a K&N air filter from Quadratec. Installed it yesterday and wow it what a improvement it made. I can finally climb up the local hill with out needing to shift down to 4th. Now interested to see what the fuel consumption will be like.

Then put some new black powder coated wheel nuts on, replacing the rounded off standard wheel nuts.

Put in some new quadratec rear molded floor mats.

Then today i fixed my rear tailgate opening problem.

A few weeks ago I was parked up a hill and went to open the tailgate. With out thinking i just let it swing open.

Well the force broke the hinge stops, cracked my right hand rear tail light lense and the force jambed jambed the door wide open.

Here are the photos of the damage below.

The Broken Hinge stops

Door wide open sitting on the rear tail light

So i ordered a tailgate prop from Quadratec to prevent it from swing open so far now that the hinge stops are useless. The proper also slows how fast the tailgate when it swings open and then it holds the door open even when facing down hill.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/13027_1001.htm

Here are a few install pics and a vid of the prop all installed

(couldnt work out how to embed the video so here it is)

Also tested the towing capacity of the TJ. Boat and Trailer weigh 923kgs so is prefect for the TJ.

It towed it perfectly, except for the hills on the way down to eden last weekend.3rd gear got a work out.

No just gotta save some money to buy the boat of my uncle before it sells.
