I can very strongly suggest TTI ratchets. I have swung my full budy weight off my 17mm multiple times. Left it in the weather, it lived in the bottom of my tool bag covered in flux and silicon and blue glue and has done for years...

The set I brought to work on the car hasn't been abused to that extent but it is standing strong after several years.

Don't buy gear wrench ones. I got them really cheap but they are no where near as good as kincrome or sidchrome. I regret getting them. It's the type of tool you won't use often but when you do you want good ones.

Bought some today, Repco branded Z Wrench. They are a nice looking spanner. Made in Taiwan and that is where a lot of the good quality hand tools are being made these days. Lifetime warranty which pleases me. I think they should be just fine. I actually probably didn't need them but they were nearly half price. The only downside I see with the set is they didn't come with a 16mm or a 18mm.

Regards A

Can't get TTI in Tassie.

fairly limited the TTI online store. I couldn't see any z wrenches on there and far less than what they carry in store. Bit exi too with freight. Not a site I will buy from just because I can get equally good tools in Tas cheaper than I can online once freight is added. I used to shop at Gasweld now Adelaide tools in SA as I got trade there. What I do like about Total Tools in store is the $1 grinding wheels. I miss that over here.
