I know you got rid of it but general info, here at least in Qld you do not have to have symmetrical or even number of accessory lights so no need for the tape down the middle and it's not illegal to have the bar mounted if you can't switch it on from the cab. So an external switch or a disconnected plug proves you are not using it on the road. however I read the guidelines ages ago and up here I'm not entirely sure there is a ruling anymore about having it up high.

Nice to see someone put on the Overland rock rails for you, looks like a tidy unit.

There was no Overland in 2001 so maybe this was a fully optioned Limited?

Is it possible to get a full list of all options sold with the car based on the VIN number?

PS: And yeah Fester if that's really a pic of you, you can ride my passenger seat anytime lol

That's my sister you pervs are having inappropriate thoughts about.

Pretty certain they are the rock rails. As a Limited it should have body coloured or black (can't remember on mine) plastic trim and it hugs the sill and does not stand out like that. It would also have the moulded front mud flaps normally. These don't fit with the rock rails and the rock rails do stick out like the pic and that is the colour of the rock rails. I put them on my Limited.

I could be wrong though but it will be pretty obvious to Shane if you have a good look underneath or hit them with something or a magnet.
