A PM might get you a bit further....

Thanks for that. Cool to see someone putting together a solution. I've started my search for an off-road fabricator to work on the belly pan as well as a few other things, (front tow hook brackets & metal rear bumper). I'll post my findings here when I have some more info.

Cheers!

We had a great weekend up at Landcruiser Mountain Park, with Stu Murchison and about 20+ other Jeepers. We made some good friends, and I'm happy to report the WK2 handled itself very well.

Here are a few photos of the fun.

I strapped the new Rhino Rack Luggage Bag up on top of the Rhino Rack Pioneer Tray this past weekend. It looks like a great bag, with durable materials and a great design. My only complaint would be that it's designed to go along the side of the tray, but due to the spare tire, I need to position it across the front of the tray. With it positioned across like I have it, the straps are on the front and back instead of the sides making it a bit more difficult to tighten. It also means the front of the bag has a zipper on it, making it slightly less dust/water proof. All-in-all I think it is going to work excellent for my needs, (1-2 major camping trips per year), but it would be nice if it were designed to better handle alternate orientations.

We head off to Coffs Harbour for 10 days of 4Wheeling and camping on Thursday. I'll report back on how it performs.

Here's a photo of the new bag up on the tray.

May be a dumb question... but why not put the spare at the front of the rack? It cops the bugs and rain and protects the roof bag. Possibly better weight distribution, too.

Just a thought.

Cheers

Yeah, I considered putting the spare at the front, but I like using the sun roof when we're trail riding. If I put the bag up front it only blocks the sun roof until we setup camp. Also it's easier to load things on the front of the rack, so I prefer to keep the things I am going to load/unload up front.
