Bikemat I think the remote module interfaces with the security system (SKIMS) & it would be almost impossible to adapt an aftermarket unit.

The cost of fuel gets me down? But I am not really complaining as the V8 rocks!

I agree wrench, I was talking about installing a complete new remote entry security system - I assume the sentry key system would be separate to the remote entry system

I can't afford to buy it as it's still sitting in the car yard. ZG will have to do.

Well mines a LITTLE different, seeing as i dont drive the car and im just passenger. My issue is getting in and out. Its kinda hard, i have to hang off the handle thing near the window, hold onto the seat and pull myself in the car. Getting out is less effort, i simply slide out. Only bad part is if im wearing a skirt or dress, which i found out today.

Thats my only issue.

Thread dredge…

I HATE the bloody memory seats. Ive tried resetting numerous times, but everytime I unlock the car it goes back to where the crippled dwarf P.O. had it set. Also the seat upholstery is poor quality but hey, they’re a cheap car these days.
