Well what can I say, Had the kj back to jeep to have the following things fixed: Fan belt tensioner replaced, replaced radio as it didn't display counter when playing cd's, back window lubed as it squeeked when putting up and down. Guess what, the fan belt still squeeks, the back window still squeeks, and the cd player still doesn't read the cd's plus they installed the new one crooked, I now have a rattle inthe dash. not happy
Lucky not on recall for torque converter
Going back this week to talk to them. Is anyone else having this problem with Jeep????
Evenythough having these problems and being very frustrated at times love the car

Mine was only purchased in June last year, and well there is another story with the delivery from a different jeep dealer. It was dealyed by two weeks as they didn't book it into aARB for the lift kit and then aARB couldn't fit them in, the tj that I was driving was booked it to have major mods done to it and we couldn't delay it so the dealer had to give me a loan car, then as part of the mods I got 5 new tyres, but only 4 were delivered with the car, they forgot to change the spare and I had to wait over a month for them to get the spare to me??
I have had nothing but lack of help from three different jeep dealers, and now not only having the problems with the kj, but also having problems with the tj getting warranty work done

And then...

after my overheating woes which was "fixed" with a new viscous clutch fan, was driving down the freeway on sunday and the temp gauge went right into the red. OK it was 38deg, but the road was flat, I wasn't towing and I wasn't stuck in traffic. The gauge went from the middle position, up to the redline in about 30seconds and stayed there till I got home.

I wonder what they'll say when I call them tomorrow.

Funny how these problems always recurr just AFTER the customer liason bloke calls me to see if I'm satisfied with the work they carried out!

That's bloody rediculous, there's something majorly wrong if that's happening - it MUST be cutting on something.

gday stu
mate i thought the same thing as i was removing the third hose that has blown on this f**kin jeep ,
bottom hose is the one that has gone three times on mine and each time it has split along the hose , definatly not rubbing on anything
the hose is covered inside with oil and this weakens the hose and it blows under pressure ,
i have had enough and plan to try and get some anwers from a jeep man named jerermy tomorrow .
