Hi, Got mine a while back.
Installed it to the left of the steering wheel, very happy with the location.
The radio works reasonably well. Problems being that it only has a few buttons on the front, to use the extra features (CTCSS, scan) you have to play with button in certain order (turn on holding vol up.down, etc, etc) whihc is a bit of a pint in the ass, however once set up it works fine.
I placed the antenna on the rear wheel carrier - makes it very discrete (less likely to be stolen), and seems to work very well.
