Rock Lizard back in business? Wow after that public self destructing letter h posted Im amazed!
I am surprised too but if true in a small way happy, and after chasing him for ages, not sure of costing and shipping but it is an option worth investigation. Time and cost would be a factor for me to think about as well as weight.

As promised I'd let you know of progress, there is good news in that we knocked up the mounting bracket (like front bar) for the rear bar which attaches to the chasis and is bolted on through the side and then from the bottom by the tow bar. This took us ages and I ran out of time as we needed to drop fuel tank and rip plastic off and make a few mods here and there to the back of car. The idea is that I'm wanting to replicate the OEM plastic guard with the end parts flat for the spindals and internally re-enforced and will be bolted onto the mounting bracket, HOWEVER there is bad news too.... progress is frustratingly slow as we needed the jeep to tow the boat down to SA for our holiday and I was not able to leave the car with a mate who ended up being busy anyway.

So he's put me onto some of his mates here in Sydney and they will look at fabing the plastic one into metal with the mod's built in. Cost wise I'm not sure but I will be sitting down with them in a few weeks. Hopefully for 2JF and a few others sake including my own I find a solution sooner rather than later. But this way of doing this will be financially straining so may take some time depending...

I'm sorry guys for the slow news but some progress has been made. My mate has the bracket at the moment as he is finishing welds and tidying it up a bit here and there as well as primer it.

Just an option,

I have been in contact with "Boiler" in the states and he is interested in supplying to LongBeach. Will advise me in a couple of weeks after he has completed his latest drawings on pricing & freight details.

I have only been discussing the rear bar with him but I'm sure he could freight the roof rack if required to LongBeach as well.

Jeep'ers your efforts have not gone unappreciated, as I stated at the start of this thread my spare tyre has cracked the r/gate skin again (3rd time). If I'm going to invest more cash into this I prefer to put it towards a new swing away Bar...not a bandaid repair job (@$500 each time), which will be needed shortly. I am far from confirming an order with "Boiler"............but with CRDSTU's freighting option I had to re-visit the US manufacture & economic options. I am waiting for these costs & time frames to be calculated.
