Default My weekend

Managed to get a few things done.

Front coil spacers.
Replaced control arm bushes.
Fixed dash lights.
Flushed cooling system and replaced crimped heater hose.
NSS clean.

Still running a little hot, and fans don't cut in when they are supposed to so have a byass switch. Temp guage not working so have aftermarket guage.

Once I get temps under control I am going offroad
Oh also need some bumpstops!

Well maybe I need another weekend or two and a few bucks and I might have my XJ sorted!

Seemed to accomplish a bit, but still soooo much to do! Oh well I enjoyed the weekend.

Washed it - yes in Queensland I washed it.

This weekend we were allowed 1 hour to use water from the hose.

So the XJ got a really good tub.

What temp is the fan coming on? Should come on at 105*C ( or when the A/C is running ) and switch off at 95*C. If it doesn't you need to change the CTS ( Coolant Temperature Sender ) in the thermostat housing. The gauge sender is right near the firewall just the the right of the rocker cover.
