Default What have you done to your JK this week?

After losing an argument with a tree stump off-road and then a bungled recovery attempt I was left with a jeep that had no steering, a bent front axle housing, stuffed springs and a bent front bumper.

Thanks to bill and the boys I now have a terraflex D30 front axle housing (sleeved and gusseted) new springs, new ball joints and a DBOR modular bar.

Only complaint with their service. They could of at least cleaned it!!!!

Thanks guys. Back just in time for my high country trip. Let's see what I can break this time.

Still need to do some adjustment on the net but it was pretty easy to fit.
I've got one too. Great bit of kit so you can pack high and not worry about things flying through the cab.

Made up a rack to fit over my congo master rack, to hang my new side awning and my roof pod!!! Yes, i do have the original big ass tube rails the congo comes with, but they are too bulky and the bolts for the pod dont reach!!!

I also installed the beep beep eliminator!!!

this is what happens when you are out beating the hell out of your jeep without a 36mm socket and a breaker bar and decide, ya know, f*ck it, I'm not paying for a tow, she'll be right. blown uni, limped 100km's home.

thanks a million to Bill and Co. at DBOR for hooking me up with the replacement axle shaft and putting up with my endless bloody messages

end result a quick axle swap and a sketchy next few days checking diff oil levels to see if I have done an inner axle seal or not. worth it despite the GF enquiring as to how much I'd get for the jeep if "we" decided to sell it.
