Looks great. I used a dye once about 2 years ago and it's bad again.

Did you just use a heat gun? Any link for us?

Yerr nothing special just a heat gun. Just don't touch it while it is hot because you actually melt the plastic slightly.

Just refitted my amp after a few hassles and taking it back twice. This time after I pick it up I rock up at the servo and find some shade so I can fit it and have some tunes on the way home. MMMM that is where I nearly lost the plot, the temp sensor screw had been stripped in the housing. You see the bloke uses a 14v drill to undo the screws, why he does not use a 3v Bosch one I have no idea. Anyway I only noticed as there was something rattling around inside the case. At that point I was thinking ok I have wasted enough money and fuel on this, I ma going home and if is still stuffing up as I thought it may, Bob the electrical repairman was going to get a neg post on here. I got it home replaced the screw and also turned over the cover so that the indents for the screws were around the right way and the screw heads were not sticking out. So after about an 1.5hrs of fiddling I have got it back in working and now the car is pretty much sorted. The front seat is back in finally and now I can rest and worry about the other nigglies at a later time, yeyy.

Regards A

Unbeliveble the amp is doing exactly the same thing it did when it went in...... WTF..... Now it is a bin job... Waste of 100 bucks.

started playing with the new jeep today, took a battery out today, tried to turn it over today the started was buggered just clicking, so i swapped it over with another i had in the shed still no go just wound, so i decided to play around with them, swapped solinoinds bolted it back in and she turns over, so now time to put it back together, but will need to put a new starter in it as its playing up still, but atleast it will start the car when the time comes

p.s
i am now a pro at installing startes in the VM diesel XJ's (stock height), with out removing anything to get to the starter. was only a 15min job in and out.

it actually easier to do on stock height than a lifted XJ.

ill do a write up on it if anyone is interested??

You are seriously having a bad day with your amp.
Haven't sorted out my audio options yet.

My plan is to get a new head unit that will run off the xoom and the blackberry phone.
