a lot of people in the states take the metal mulisha gibsons and cut and weld them on diagonally from the muffler to get the departure angle back a bit, so essentially aimed at each mud flap. how noisy are they? I hear they are just about the most overly loud muffler on the market for the jk..
looked at getting the chrome version for ages

Seems like a lot of work when it takes 2 minutes to remove the tips. The muffler sits at stock height so departure angle is sorted.
They're loud, and a bit rubbish. Pretty much what you'd expect from an axle back system. Nice throaty sound at idle and then just drone the rest of the time. The Gibson muffler will get upgraded to a proper full-length system at some point, and i'll fit the MM tips to that.

fitted my lift kit I have slowly been gathering parts for
Icon dual rate springs 2.5 inch, bilstien 5100 shocks, AEV geo brackets, teraflex rear track bar bracket and steering dampner, synergy dampner relocation bracket, exhaust spacers and home made steel bump stop extensions. Still waiting on the rubicon express disconnects but just put the rear links up the front for now

Looks good mate how did you go with the exhaust and front drive shaft, I ended up getting a afe y pipe as my 27" shocks at full droop still sat on the exhaust.
What year model and auto or manual

Mounted my ARB Compressor in the back
I've had an ARB compressor for some time which I purchased in the plastic "tool" box - seemed a good idea at the time, but it kept getting in the way or getting forgotten!
I've had the metal brackets in the back for some time, and with molle pouches on them, and "stuff" under them and they have proved to be very useful.
So today I mounted the ARB on the metal brackets after ripping it out of the plastic box thing and using some metal sleeves from my old land rover spring bushes ( Had them for over 15 years and I knew they would be good for something one day!).
I needed to raise it to clear one of the brackets, and I didn't want to try unbolting it from the classy little base that it is fixed to. I've fitted the pump behind the passenger rear seat and it works fine. I have a spare battery in the back so I've left the alligator clips on the wires for now and will think of wiring it up later if it seem worthwhile to do. Can be easily removed if need be, but is also well secured if someone tries to remove it.

Just used the teraflex spacers, was a bitch until I realized there was a little stopper you have to knock off haha, I have a bit of room to play with as I have the 24" ? I think it is, I would like the 27s but was a bit worried about the springs falling out but turns out that they have plenty of extension to the springs so could easily run the 27s. I will get the AFE Y and loop replacement pipe if I change the shocks later
