Most of the wiring you'll need to grab from the rear of the lights. Your parkers can be wired from the existing parkers, but indicators and reversing will need to come from the main loom running to the lights.

If you buy a NARVA socket it will have the std wiring and colour codes for trailers on the packet, it may be different than what dad has but will be std to most other trailers.
As for the TJ wiring, the FSM will give you the Jeep colours, or if you are lucky some dood on here will pipe in soon with them.
Splice into the loom before it splits to each side you will be able to get all the wires you need, and not have to run all over the place for the parkers and the other indicator.
If you can solder do it , the quick crimp things are useless and unreliable. they may work to start with but will become unreliable when they get even a little corroded.
