Default Nitto Terra Grapplers 20"

I am interested in finding out if anyone has fitted or is thinking about fitting Nitto Terra Grappler 265/50R20 all terrain tyres on their GC Limited or Overland.
Whilst the 20" wheel is far from the best size for off-road, the Terra Grapplers at least seem to have a more aggressive tread pattern.

Regards Simon (2011 GC limited CRD with QL)

Yes I would be interested in the Nitto's too. I see a lot of posts for them on the US forums. I was also thinking of the Cooper Zeon LTZ 20's. I have a WK2 LTD CRD.

Default 265/50r20 Terra Grappler

I have today fitted the 265/50r20 Terra Grappler to my 2011 GC Limited CRD. The tyres have a more aggressive pattern than the pictures relay. They have a slight hum at highway speed but feel good.

I would go one size bigger (285/50r20) which is not that much bigger in actual dimensions. The factory size seems undersize. Maybe it is me.

I also have Nitto NT01 Semi Slicks on a my WRX Road/Track car and these were more of a larger size in 225/40r18 than the road tyres so I assumed the sizing would be similar but the Kumho's appear to be slightly wider at the tread face...

They do seem like a nice tyre though.

They look very nice Ken!

Im running the Mud Grapplers but in 17", have found them to be very strong and grip well too! And you can hear me coming from about 2km away with the hum from them

thinking of a set of 295/65R-20 Nitto Trail Grappler MT, very nice aggressive tire for trips away

any opinions on if 295 width and the 65 profile will fit ok in the 2012 GC?

ken221070 i noticed you said the 285 would fit ok

They're bloody aggressive! Look a bit similar to the old BFG KM1's or the Maxxis Bighorn patterns but a bit more aggressive on the side walls.

I'd like Valpacer's Mud Grapplers but they're not available on standard rims so I might go for BFG KM2's (265/70/R17) as they look closely similar in pattern.
