There are a few minor things on there that I could probably do myself to save some coin(e.g. headlight), but wondering what everyone elses thoughts are?
Reckon I should just cough up or get a second opinion?
- Windscreen - $270
- Steering wheel grip - $90
- Damper replacement due to weeping - $200
- Tie Rod End Pitment Arm (not draglink) - $250
- Tie Rod End Tow Adjustment - $250-350
- Engine Oil Leaks (Rocker Gasket) - $180
- Tighten handbrake - $100

The steering wheel grip? if he's talking about the rubber around the steering wheel, super cheap sells steering wheel covers for around $30
Damper replacement, you can get them for around $120 (aftermarket) and there's only one nut on one end and a nut & bolt on the other (kina high in my opinion).
Tie rod end tow adjustment -$250 - $300 off the planet high, simple adjustment maybe 20 minutes work (if drunk).
Tighten hand brake, I'd say it's worth $50 on the outside.
I hope this helps.
I'm sure he's a good mechanic, and everyone has their set rates, I just know what we do things for.
