Camping Trailer has begun
I have (Finally) started the trailer project.
I swapped an unused, and rather worn out ride on lawn mower (I had 2, and his broke) for a good 6x4 trailer with a neighbor. The neighbor is a spraypainter, so he has tidied up & re-sprayed the trailer.
The trailer is at a local fab shop getting a lid made up for it now (much like a tradesman top, but only @ 500 tall, I wanted shorter than the jeep with spare wheels on top of the lid, gas strut doors on both sides and back.
The tail lights were broken, so they were ripped off before the re-spray, so my first question is:
"Would I be the only idiot in the world who wants to put Jeep (Wrangler) tail lights on the trailer too?"
Am sure a million questions will arise over time, over whether to install slide out shelvs on one side/rear, how best to connect a power source etc . . but not yet, let the idea settle for a while with the wife, oh, and I have about 50 non-jeep related projects happening all at once too!
