Thanks for sharing

Original rims are 50.8mm offset
And the outside edges were always scrubbing

That's a cool video too
Those 285's are monsters
Some serious lift going on with that CRD
Bit too much for me and the highway driving I do

I like these steel Black Rock rim
from Quadratec
Maybe next time ?

For those who like numbers head on over to Wheel-Size website
They even have a handy dandy online conversion app

Hey I'm up at QLD but might be an option for me thanks just looking at what I can do at the moment.
Those black rocks look awesome.
So Clarky you reckon +30 rims would be helpful for the larger tyres?
Loving all the info guys thanks, kinda new to the whole thing
Also how much will the wheels stick out if I went with the JK AEV rims? could I cover it with some rubber flares?

I have the Murchison H/D lift in the front and OME M/D in the rear with +30 rims, 265/70/17 tyres.
I get slight rubbing (cut the lugs) on the outer rear when the tyre stuffs up into the guard. They stick out just a little too much.
+35 on my humble opinion would eliminate the rub.
I am seriously considering 255/75/17 (true 32 inch) next time, this should clear the wheel arch.

**Correction

Jason's running 33x12.5R17's on the CRD and I'm running 285/70R17's on the HEMI. Both have a modded 4" Superlift.

Prop shafts angle doesn't change with a lift as the front diff and transfer case remain in there original position. Front half shafts may become an issue at 3 inch's though.
So if you put JK rims on a WH or XH they will hit the calipers?

How are people getting around that? Spacers?

Clarky have you done the rear wheel arch mod? I hear that helps with the rubbing in the rear.

Briteway how much did it cost you to import the superlift if you don't mind me asking? want to find a cheaper way of getting it to the country.

Also is the only reason you guys are saying stay away from the JK aev pintlers becuase they stick out too far? If so how far out do they sit?
