Default What have you done to your JK this week?

I've been toying with this, a mate gave me his from his gq to try and figure out, problem is there seems no place that it can fit except the driver side firewall behind the inner guard

Have been using the Turtlewax Liquid Ice on the plastics for a few years and the last lot was no longer a clear liquid but a white cream. It seems to have lost its ability to keep tje guards black or maybe its just been over 4 years parked in the sun has taken its toll.

Thought it was time to try something new so giving the Mothers Naturally Black a try.

So far very pleased with the results and was a dramatic change from the faded pale grey to the original colour again. Will see how long it last now!

Was actually the only plastic restorer type product at the local supercheap! Wish I had taken a before photo now.

Edit, not quite a before but on closer inspection in daylight infound a couple of bits I missed..

Edit 2: forgot to do the crush can covers on the arb bar. Were same condition as the guards:

SeaComms, I use either Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer or Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer for the same stuff, works a treat. Wash, apply, leave in shed for the rest of the day.

cut the wires to the tweeters in the aftermarket coaxial speakers fitted to my Jeep. Technically trashed the speakers lol

Drastic improvement in sound quality. No more muffled high notes now that the stock dashboard tweeters are doing all the work, as per what the Infinty amp is designed to do.

They still could do with upgrading though.

That's not bad stuff, I used to use it on my Falcon door trims as it was the only stuff that wouldn't look streaky.

Another great product to think about is Aerospace protectorant 303. Use it on everything plastic, flares, trims, dash, tyres etc.
