I like my Smittybilt Atlas rear bar/carrier...the two Jerry cans are on the inside of the carrier gate......not easily seen from the rear and protected by the gate. 40 litres of additional range.

Here in WA it is an issue which is why I opted not to fit them when I had my wheel rack built.
I think the Or-fab type is Ok as they mount them behind the wheel and the law stipulates that fuel cannot be carried in the outer extremities.
This is why I like the system you have fitted.
Does this fuel storage protrude out past your bumper? If not, I reckon you have a good argument toward being legal.
My next question is, will this system fit on my spare wheel and carrier. Any idea?

The AEV fuel caddy? Only fits with the AEV tire carrier, you don't need the bumper though. FUEL CADDY FAQ

It will only fit the AEV bar/carrier. The only part of the jerry that is out past the bar is inside the spare wheel, which is in a higher position than stock.
