Default Warning - All American Wheeling

Back in January this year I ordered a set of Teraflex shocks 3.1 remote res off All American Wheeling. I was told they don't make them anymore so I'd have to go to the 3.3. I paid $2k deposit as I generally trust people. Anyway after many chasing up it got to April and I asked them if I could cancel the order as they never gave me any updates and couldn't tell me when they might come.

They agreed and said they'd give me a refund. Well it's been over a month now and with everything going on and family members losing jobs etc. I have been contacting them asking for the money as I really need it. They keep stalling and just wanting to talk over the phone now. It's put me off owning a Jeep so it's sold now also cause I need the money.

It's a really low act so I would not recommend anyone use these guys because I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. Its shops like these that put people off owning Jeeps. I regret taking my Jeep to them.

I would be going to my credit card mob for a refund and they should be able to sort it, failure to supply.

I agree with drover. This sucks and I am sure they are up to no good, but at some point after you document all the contact etc - you have to escalate and going to your credit card company is a good step. They have the muscle to make it clear the refund is going to happen that you as an individual simply don't have access to.

Sorry this experience was so garbage for you. While I have never heard of All American Wheeling I won't use them if the occasion should arise.

Good luck and thanks for the heads up.

Talk to your bank and get them to cancel the order.

If you paid with Credit Card, 100% get onto bank and cancel. If you paid with money, then you have a bigger issue. Find a big friend and go and visit them.

Don't get put off owning a Jeep simply because there are some cowboys in the game. At least when you buy online from reputable USA distributors, you might pay a little more sometimes but there is recorse.

Keep us updated mate.

Thumbs up

Thanks very much for the support and advice guys. It has been successful via the bank. Such a relief to get the $ back. Thanks again to you all.

I found this whole saga quite surprising.

I know one of the founders of AAW and he is an upstanding bloke who has a passion for Jeeps (and everything MOPAR) and a member of this forum.
He would be devastated this ended up on the forum.
Glad it worked out in the end but I hope this isn't the end of AAW as they have a good rep normally.
