G'day all.

From west Melb. Currently dont have a 4wd at all and never have but have always wanted to tear up our awesome trails and due to my love of the outdoors, mountain biking and snowboarding a JK makes a lot of sense Have always been a major petrol head but always been on tarmac.... will enjoy all the info on here before I purchase next year!

Post Hi all

G'day everyone. My name is Simon but most people call me Barney (yes, from the Flinstones!). I have been checking out the forum for a little while and thought i had better join as i will be asking questions, and hopefully provide some as well. I live in Goondiwndi, Qld. and bought my JK Rubi new in March this year. Not many hills around here (as in none!) but there are a few little tracks here and there, so i'm trying to get out there more. Hopefully might see some of you on the road ok.

Hi all,
My name is Luke I'm currently living just north of Melbourne. Have always loved the out doors and tearing it up. My Jeep is the 1st 4X4 iv owned and cant see myself going to anything else. Goes everywhere iv tried and loves it. I was a Boilermaker in a past life so any questions about fabrication you have ill be happy try and answer. Ill be asking a lot about how to fix what I'v broken.

Hey all,

Chris here,
Just recently Purchased a new JK Wrangler a few months ago. From Sydney, (bass hill area). I really use my jeep for camping and some fourbying every now and again. Highlight of my jeep driving thus far is pulling out my brother in laws Landcruiser with his trailer attached that was fun.

Some mods are 32" Cooper Discoveres STT
2" lift kit
I have an AEV snorkel but haven't had it installed.

Would anyone know of any places in Sydney that installed AEV Snorkels for now a too dear price, as i'm not game to drill into my own car just incase.

Can't wait to see all the awesome info on this forum.

Cheers
-
Chris
