Thanks Rj_Jk. I'll have another look at those cables before I head off offroad this weekend. The dealer cable tied the new sensor to the shock while the AEV install sheet shows only the brake line needs to be tied hence giving the wheel sensor cable a bit more slack and reduce the likelihood of it getting pulled. So I'll cut off that new cable tie while I'm at it.

Any liklihood whatever sets those lights off is tied into the brake light switch. Took my jku around some paddocks tonight and it thru both lights on the drive home. Afterwards noticed brake light stuck on. Switch had fallen out its holder. Put it back in cycled the key a few times and they went away. Drove off and the brake lights came back on over a bump and the abs esc lights came back on a hard stop at a red light again. Have cable tied the switch in place but not driven it again. I did get a back wheel a little iffyhe ground at one point but doubt it would have stretched the cable having sways connected and there's enough slack in them for the shocks at full extension.

Under the dash on the pedal. Its a normally closed momentary switch so when the pedal is back touching it the lights off. Push the pedal forward a touch and switch no longer contacts the pedal and lights turn on. Its a white box about inch and half square that pushes into a metal frame. Stick your head on the floor and look up, can't miss it.

Cheers mate. Yes, I used a mirror and a torch instead and saw it. In my case, it's been all good since the wheel speed sensor was replaced. I did hear from someone who works at a dealership saying that on some Jeeps if you ride the brake and apply throttle at the same time, the electronics can't deal with it and dash lights will come on. So, if your brake switch is faulty, the system could be thinking that you are braking and accelerating at the same time hence the dash lights. I'm no expert though and that's just my theory which could be b&^*%$#t

First time it came on I was gassing it full noise uphill around a corner and skipped sideways a touch. The computer would not have known what was going on, thats kinda what I was thinking. Assuming the brake light was on at the time as when I pushed it back in after I saw the middle light on it came out in seconds of driving. Maybe I just knocked a retainer tab off installing the new amp under the dash.

Second time they came on was hard braking but no skids or abs. Just wait and see what happens. How much are wheel sensors ?

Default ABS and ESC Lights ON Help!

4WD man that only applies to the WK Grand Cherokee not the JK. You can "left foot brake" in a JK with no detrimental effects.
