Well...its confirmed by the guru at All Grand Cherokee, engine out for intake removal on pre'14s....Grippy has found a spanner shop that say they can do it by removing one head....will be VERY interested on following the progress on that one

Ouch what a PITA!!

If the engine has to come out you may as well take the flex plate off & check / replace the tone wheel & pickup sensor

Our models dont have the tone wheel....the new info re:the intake removal is indeed a PITA

No idea...only know the pre 14's dont have the tone wheel....no factory recall for that issue
