Petrol fuel economy 😁
Hi all, I’ve had my 2015 Laredo for a few months now. I zeroed the trip meter when I first got it, and as you can see, the economy out of this is amazing for what it is. Better than any Commodore or Falcon I’ve ever owned. I drive about 50/50 city/highway, I’ve done a bit of towing, and a little bit of off road, and as you can see, the economy is fantastic. And I don’t baby it either. What else are other petrol owners getting?

That is very good, but to put it in perspective my VF Commodore SV6 gets around 8.8L combined. Jeep doesn’t have the aerodynamics of a Commodore of course !
On the flip side my TJ is lucky to get a combined 15L.

Newest Commodore I had was a VY. Those Ecotec’s weren’t really economical.

I had a VY SS Ute with 6 speed manual. City driving was up in the 18’s but on the highway it was phenomenal, mid 6’s.

My old petrol Territory ('07) averaged around 17 in town, 14ish in the sticks, and 22 when towing my 2.5t van. Horrible.
Glad to hear petrol GC's are doing much better, although I'll stick with my diesel.

Not a Jeep, but I loved my old Territory. Had the best storage compartments.
