i was reading about the nth degree trackbar and brace set up and was just wondering what the deal is? They claim that it will do amazing things for the steering. Why were you running the brace? did the mount break out of the chassis?

Hey buddy. How's things...

Did you like Aleisha's shirt? Patrol owners eh....

Mate I haven't braced my panhard rod mount but I did crack mine most of the way off about halfway up the bracket... It was after about 2 years of running 36-37 inch tyres and I think the high speed work gives them heaps more of a work out than the slow flexy stuff.
I was thinking of bracing mine a bit but haven't got around to it just yet...
Let us know how you go!

I think the main reason the relocate the chassis bracket is to improve the angle on the TRE.

The bracket will also stengthen the mount also.

Sometimes just lowering the suspension an inch or two will get the angles back to near stock.

If you use the relocation bracket, you have to change the pitman arm to suit. The trackbar/panhard must be paralel with the drank link otherwise bumpsteer will be an issue.

all good mate. just trying to plan a bit ahead, if they are common for breaking out i will do something now, before it happens. Just finishing up a few odds and ends from the trans swap, then on to the next thing on the list. new speed sensor will be here in the next couple of weeks.
