No - not the navy or sea-going variety. Door Seals.

A while back I got stuck going through a deep water hole and my driver side got a little water in it. Does anyone know how to seal the doors a little better to stop water/dust getting in?

Hi,

No such thing as door seals that will not leak under water.

I use masking tape around the lower half of the doors. Much easier to peel than duct tape. Use one application per water crossing. Duct tape for multiple crossings. Tailgate is much more difficult to seal around the bottom.

You will still get water around the door seals via the front wheel arch, the tape just means the upstream side doesn't have so much pressure and it takes a little longer via the wheel arch for the water to get in there so you should be out by then.

BTW if you are that deep in water you will get it in all sorts of places like aircon water drain (makes your A/C smell of mud for years), starter motor etc etc. Worst place is engine air intake.
Cost me a starter motor beacuse I never used to tape over bell-housing drain holes.
You need to seal more than the doors. I think there is an old thread here somewhere on the complete run down. Maybe check backwards and look it up.

Cheers
