g'day folks
I have had the strangest thing happen in the past
couple of days where i start the old XJ up and all the gauges are dead, so i drive off and nothing, no tacho, no speedo, all asleep, obviously a loose connection somewhere as I will hit a bump or something and voila they burst into life, anyone come across similar prob and know where the connections maybe?

attack of the dead guages at the moment is it. Theres another thread at the moment. Its on a TJ but same prob. Look here!

hmm. what year is it???
did that windows work? (elec window??)

i had a ZJ and the electric used to screw up out of the blues.. all lekky stuff wont work, no gauges, no windows, no air con, and it likes to die in summer too..
but what i was told to do was disconnect the battery, and reconnect it after 30secs... and they all work then.. :D
