Has anyone done the Android upgrade, and if so, are you happy with it?

Cheers, Craig

Can you guys list up what hardware and software versions you have?

I have a 2015 overland.

I'm particularly interested to see if you can change the state (eg, from NSW to QLD).

I've been having a battle with FCA and my locally dealer since Oct 2016!!! Can't change state and they refuse to swap out the head unit...

Went to FCA resolution on 15th Feb, 2017... resolution was they would give me an external nav to fix the problems, up to value of AUD$200...

Went to fair trading... useless.. Not sure why. I purchased a car with a working sat nav that stopped working under warranty and they refuse to fix it.

I need to 'wait' for a firmware update to fix it... Was coming in Jan/feb/mar 2017, but still not available...

I just got a reply from FCA.

From Robert Lawson:

Telephone: 1300 133 079
Email: robert.lawson@fcagroup.com

I have been advised that new mapping will be available shortly, we are just waiting to get the mapping software approved and once this is released, hopefully this will fix your concern

As I am not technically trained, I would suggest to discuss this concern with your dealer if you have not already done this and they can submit a technical case to our technical team

They might have new information that can address your concern

I would suggest you contact him directly if you have the same issue as me. The more that they are aware that users have the same problem, the more likely they will fix it.

How will a dealer know if FCA don't
That is buck passing at it's finest. You have contacted the Supplier of the vehicle to resolve your issue.

Yes, agree. It's now not been working more than half of the time that I've had the car. I'm sure reprogramming a new one will work, they just don't want to have to do it.
