Why has no one mentioned the TV series Eureka?!

The star of the show The sherrif drives an XJ. It does however get blown up pretty frequently but it always gets replaced cos he loves 'his jeep'!

Saw this XJ ute (MJ?) in the modern version of War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise which was on TV on Friday night. The scene is where the martian machine is chasing him and he jumps into the ute then the martians throw it in the air and it crashes back down and rolls landing on its roof, hence it being up-side-down in the photo.
(side note - if the martians are going to be throwing jeeps around then I would be wanting to shoot the bastards downs too!)
