What, do you have a whole slab chilling at once?
I usually rotate in some warmies once I've sunk a few, however last few trips it's been a bottle of rum or vodka instead

I'm actually more of a wine and spirit drinker myself but don't mind a few beers when beach fishing. I use the 55lt as the drinks fridge as the camper has a 65lt fridge/freezer for the food.

The wife is liking the the console fridge though and it draws bugger all power especially on days like today.

Hi people,
Not sure which thread to ask this in. So if someone can point me in the right direction. Chasing info on aftermarket strut and shocks for wk2. Namely changes in travel.

Cheers,
I think there are a couple of brands that do a 'long travel' shock to suit 2ish inch lifts - but realistically, you're not getting much more travel than stock out of a WK2

Yeah I'm aware there wouldnt be alot. Ive gone the murchison coil route. And after picking the car up they informed me that post 2019 or so theres a change to the front strut. They use to have an internal topout spring which would slow the strut before topout.
So I'm wanting to know how much "long travel" increases the stroke. Because presently if i go over a sharp speedbump the strut tops out with enuff noise to sound like its going to explode.

Well I know a lot Pooh Poo Ironman stuff but I have their struts on mine and unlike the stock jobs when I have slammed into a hole or speed bump the struts don't sound like they are coming thru the bonnet, everything bangs like hell of course.......... Not my first set of Ironman gear either and probably not the last.......... my other go to is usually OME but they didn't want to play with the WK2 and the cost has got scary anyway. Mine has about 40mm lift now that everything has settled....

I'm a firm believer in you should change springs and shocks all round so you have a whole set, just shocks or just springs is not good.
