Chuck those howlers and things will improve for sure, over the years I have observed that muddies just allow you to get further into the muck before getting stuck to ensure a really big recovery is needed..........

Any one want to do a service on mine, its due and Im too old and lazy ???

I did only buy them for the Cape trip...they are due to be replaced...have done 47,000 kms now.
I am toying with getting them replaced before moving as running around in the rain this morning they were getting a tad too skaty...besides the noise of course!

As well as coming back from Bathurst when I hit rain around Coona I had to back off on the tighter bends as I could feel the tyres getting a bit "loose" then too.

Moving to Hervey Bay next week drover...you've got a nice garage haven't you for Jeep servicing...

By then it will be serviced and sitting by the Gwydir River, was going to be the Darling near Louth but new tyres for Van meant a few changes had to happen... $2.20 odd a litre doesn't help either

Finally a break in the drizzle so got the Grand into the shed for a service, before the sun came out too much and turned us into dim sims ..........................
Just a standard 10K km service, oil,air and fuel filters, eng oil dropped of course and other fluids checked and a good look over everything , more so than the usualy Sunday tyre kick.

The sleepers I made up to give that little bit of extra room underneath..

No need to check books or boards, I wrote the important stuff down under the lid ... filter numbers one side and fluids type and amount on the other.

Last bottle down the hatch and in the end no mess for a change, even managed to pour the old oil and fuel into the drum without making a mess .............. time for lotto as I very often spill something.
