I could not find an Android system in Australia for my Grand Cherokee so I bought direct from China. There are any number advertised on Aliexpress but obviously there is a risk involved buying direct, especially with the language barrier. Also some sellers seem to prefer to tell you what you want to hear rather than distressing you with the facts. As for Aussie sellers; I bought a WinCE system for my wife's VW Tiguan a few years back from DigOptions. It was Plug and Play. I was very happy with the support. The website shows a JK system but it is WinCE. Maybe they can help with android.

The SWC works fine with the VW installation but the Chinese adapter supplied with my Jeep unit is not giving me SWC. I have not yet unraveled this mystery but I don't think it is a setting problem. Perhaps it's the wrong unit for my vehicle.
I have not found a Chinese CanBus adapter that gives fader control with an external amplifier system. The best adapters seem to be Axxess Interfaces. See
http://axxessinterfaces.com/ These are available from installers in Australia but if all else fails you can get them direct from the US. Mine gives me full control including SWC and fader with the external amplifier system.
I have DVD, iGO Primo for nav, 64G music card with a pretty good music manager app, nice radio interface, Bluetooth phone with phone book, integrated dash cam that works automatically most of the time, OBD and Internet.
Note that Android for car multimedia firmware seems to be still in the development stage. The original supplied with my unit had some issues. I recently downloaded and installed updated firmware from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ that is much better.
If you go Android you may find yourself messing about with it when you would prefer to be out bush. On the other hand if you are a computer geek you may enjoy it.
