Default low revs

Not sure if this is normal, could be just a wrangler thing.
I have a my 17 jku 3.6 auto. Every now and then it seems like to be a bit stuck in the low revs. Normally around 50-60km/h it will sit at 1500 revs and seem sluggish.
I also am averaging around 15l for normal driving, not even sitting in traffic, once on a highway it does drop to around 13.5.
again, this could be normal, but I just don't have anything to compare it to. I did buy the jeep brand new from the dealer and just had its 6 month service, it has been doing this since i got the jeep.
thanks

Doesn't sound normal to me. I have a my13 3.6 auto and it doesn't do what you are describing.

The fuel economy is difficult to judge because so much depends on modifications, tyres and driving style but mine averages around 12.5L/100km on long distance highway trips and around 14L/100km on my commute of 80% highway. That's from the dash fuel economy readout - I suspect the actual number might be a bit worse because I need to adjust my wheel size with my Procal.

As for the transmission being sluggish, do you mean that it doesn't gear down when press the accelerator?

Do you have larger wheels and tyres?

Yep, that sounds like a little bit of dodgy fuel and a possible fuel filter issue. If it’s just had a service check that the air intake is all attached properly - dealer mechanics can sometimes forget to tighten all hose clamps and seat air intakes correctly on throttle bodies
