Default 4WD Action Going?

No one is taking subscriptions for their mag anymore so I wonder if it is going under.

I also read in the Unsealed 4x4 online mag rumours of the same. Their fishing mag shut down last year and I didn't even get my money back for the unsent issues which I'm not happy about.

Apparently their camper trailer mag is closing as well.

I subscribed to their 4WD mag for ideas on places to go but I guess you can only watch them go to the Cape so many times before it gets boring.

I was only telling the missus on the weekend that they are rehashing articles on a yearly basis. I don't know how many times I read about the 50 cheapest mods you can do to your GQ Patrol.

Everything is going online these days, with videos in particular being the mode of transport for information, watch it, stream it where-ever and whenever you wish.

I was thinking that myself. Maybe they will just become an online video without the mag. They could either stream it on their own channel or sell it to Foxtel.

They put most of their videos on YouTube now, which I watch for free instead of paying for the mag each week. I still prefer their videos over rival 4wd ones getting around.

The only other videos I like is All 4 Adventure, all the rest are boring.

When I changed my insurance over to Club 4x4 they gave me a free subscription to Pat Callahan's mag and then sent me a series of his DVD's. They were absolutely mind numbing. The whole show is him telling you not to do this and don't do that. It was like having to listen to your father as a child.

I think I'll just renew my subscription to 4x4 Australia mag and that will do me.

Yeah I don’t mind all 4 adventure although I’m not a big fisho so that’s the only thing that doesn’t do it for me. I guess a lot of it is screen presence and personality and I don’t think old Pat passss that test

Old Pat in the Hat is so boring, same thing every episode.
The All4 Adventure blokes are awesome, get up to some crazy stuff and show a lot of missing and forgotten history.
